They say life is a collection of seasons. Some happy some sad some boring etc. They also say that life is a journey not a destination and that we need to stop and smell the roses along the way. They say the keytohappiness is contentment and gratitude and serving others. They say that sugar is bad for you.
I say that sometimes life really sucks. But sometimes it's really great too and the good parts always seem to happen just when you've had too much of the bad. I say let's hurry up and get to wherever we are supposed to go because the journey seems to take you through the bad parts of town rather than the scenic outlooks most times hand who wants to stay too long there much less take in the smells. It seems when it comes to the elusive happiness issue that they might be partly right, as much as I hate to say it I have found when I'm facing a big problem that seems horrible and I am unwillingly thrust into someone else's mess; that I find that my horrible problem isn't quite so bad and I feel like I did something positive and for someone else. As for the sugar issue, well that's a moot point because there is no way I'm ever giving that up!
