Gold Coast Summer Style part 2: Maxi dresses

Or as I like to call them God's gift to women. Why? Well I'm glad you asked that.

• They hide a multitude of sins. Ate a big dinner last night- not a problem. Ate a big dinner each night for the last month -still not a problem

• They are comfortable as anything. Sometimes I feel sorry for the men who dont have an easy comfortable go to outfit that feels like your wearing pajamas. But then I remember that men don't wear bras or have babies, so it more than evens out

• They are cool in the summer. especially the really lightweight floaty cotton ones

• You dont have to shave your legs. Because the dress is long enough to get away with it

• Its pretty standard to wear flats with them. That means no teetering around on heels like you often have to do with shorter dresses

• Its an instant no brainer outfit. No matching of tops and bottoms required. All you need is the dress and maybe a great pair of sunglasses to hide your makeup free face and you are out the door in 5 minutes
