Save money by using someone else's electricity.

I remember marvelling at 'Brookside' when it came out. As a Cornish girl and as we'm say 'ere....brought up chapel! I never imagined people who would help themselves to the mains electricity and not pay for it....as a character called Sinbad did, who, for want of a better description....hot wired the meter! Well I charge my lap top at work or on the train and as I've paid for the train ticket, feel no guilt at having some of 'Cross Country' trains electricity! I use the lap top for school work, so again, no guilt at having some of their electricity either. Sorry about the gloom in the picture but the low wattage bulbs give off enough light and again cost me very little. Well the lodger is in, he's enjoying the wi-fi and doesn't make much noise with his lap top on battery from work and his head phones on, listening to music I think. It gives him a break from a huge commute and me few quid extra which we've decided to spend on us! I think I shall save up for a greenhouse.
