The "PEACE OF SHOE" by Chritian Louboutin

Christian Louboutin has designed a special Limited Edition shoe to benefit microfinance, which provides the poor with access to very small loans in order to start and run small businesses.
Grameen Foundation is a charity of choice for Mr. Louboutin, as he believes in their core values and admires the initiatives they implement around the globe to provide the world’s poorest, especially women, with access to financing and information, thus enabling them to lift themselves and their families out of poverty.

Mr. Louboutin, inspired by “Creating a World Without Poverty” written by Nobel Prize winner and founder of Grameen Bank, Muhammad Yunus, had this to say, “When I read his book, I fell in love with this wonderful man – his ideas and his ideals!” It was only logical that a shoe would follow this inspiration, and the result was “Peace of Shoe,” which will debut in November at two of our U.S. boutiques.

“Peace of Shoe” is a classic, peep-toe platform covered in luxurious silk satin, trimmed with hand stitched and embroidered Indian ribbon. Only 33 pairs were produced worldwide,
and each is numbered and signed by Mr. Louboutin. They will be available in champagne (LA, Miami), lavender (Miami), and pink (LA) and will retail for $1,495,
with 100% of the proceeds going to benefit microfinance.

Be the first to step out with your head held high in these beautiful, signed, Limited Edition shoes, confident that you stand head and shoulders above the rest, not only for the hidden platform in your Louboutins, but because you have contributed to making the world a better place, one pair of shoes at a time.
