2011 Grammys: Red Carpet Style

Ahh, musicians, they can always be counted on to make an entrance.

Of course the most anticipated entrance had to be Lady Gaga, and the strange egg and alien looking people did not disappoint

And there was all the talk about CeeLo's crazy muppet performance featuring Gwyneth Paltrow

I personally thought Bob Dylan the Avett Brothers, and Mumford and Sons was awesome..

And the Aretha Franklin tribute was fantastic, love that they included Florence from Florence and the Machine!

The fashion was pretty crazy too, with looks from Rihanna (wear a slip honey), Justin Beiber (did I fall asleep and wake up in a 1950s barbershop quartet?), Katy Perry (your cute but this is not a dress up party), some crazy person trying to get headlines (who is Nicki Minaj anyways?), and J Lo trying to make us think that she is still young and by wearing a too short skirt and way too many hair extensions

But the good news is that some musicians still have some style (and dignity). Jennifer Hudson looks more amazing every time I see her, and Selena Gomez looked beautiful and all grown up in a champagne colored J. Mendel gown.

While we are talking about red carpet and style, I just had to give a shout out to seriously one of my favorite blogs. Go Fug Yourself is my go to for red carpet, celebrity looks, and fashion faux pas. I just love the sarcastic witty comments below the photos, and have nearly been caught reading it at work when I laugh out loud. Seriously. Awesome stuff.
