Carine Roitfeld has stepped down from her role editor of Vogue Paris, Conde Nast International have confirmed. After ten years of being one of the most influential fashion figures of our time Carine Roitfeld has decided to leave Vogue and concentrate on personal projects in January 2011.

How will Vogue Paris cope without the multi-talented Roitfeld who took on roles of editor and stylist, she pushed boundaries and will be extremely hard to replace.

"It is impossible to overstate Carine's powerful contribution to Vogue and to the fields of fashion and magazine publishing", "She has become a giant in her profession, "Jonathan Newhouse, CEO of Conde Nast International said in a statement. "Carine will be deeply missed. I am extremely grateful to her for what she has achieved."

It's quite sad news in the Fashion World, She's an inspiration, an Icon and will be missed as Editor of Vogue Paris.
Best of Luck to future projects, hope one day to meet Carine Roitfeld.
